In this document the terms "ASM Scope" or "the Software" refer to the ASM Scope application, either the standalone or the browser applet version.
Dan A. Muresan (henceforth referred to as "the copyright holders") grants you a non-exclusive and non-transferrable license to use the software for evaluation purposes without any royalty. The copyright holder retains all ownership to the software and intellectual property rights associated with it.
This license agreement becomes effective the first time you download, install or use the Software and continues for the duration of the trial period, which will be 30 calendar days. At the end of the trial period, or if at any time you do not comply with the terms of this agreement, the agreement will terminate. You may also terminate the agreement unilaterally at any time. Upon termination, you agree to destroy all copies of the software in your possession and stop using the trial version.
You may not redistribute ASM Scope.
You agree not to reverse engineer or cause a third party to reverse engineer (including, but not limited to, decompiling or modifying) the software in any way. You agree not use any means to defeat the restrictions on the use of ASM Scope.
The software may only be used for lawful purposes.
ASM Scope is provided on an "AS IS" basis. THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS MAKE NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE AND ITS ASSOCIATED FILES AND DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON_INFRINGEMENT. THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM. YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION IN THE EVENT THAT THE SOFTWARE SHALL PROVE DEFECTIVE.
The copyright holders will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, general, incidental, or consequential damages in any amount, including but not limited to lost profits or business, loss of anticipated benefit, loss of data or business information, loss of goodwill, or interruption of business however caused, arising out of any and all intended or unintended consequences of your use or inability to use this software in any way, even if the copyright holders have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
